On Friday, 4th October 2025, Unique Secondary School, Makurdi, held its annual induction ceremony to formally welcome new students into the institution. The event, which has become a tradition of the school, is aimed at officially initiating the students into the "Unique family" while providing them with vital orientation for a successful stay.
In attendance at the ceremony were the Chairman of Unique Schools, Engr. Felix Atume, mni, PhD, and the Proprietress, Mrs. Juliana Atume, who both graced the occasion with their presence. Parents of the newly admitted students were also in attendance, adding colour and warmth to the memorable day.
During the program, the students received brief but impactful lectures on essential aspects of school life, including environmental and health issues, academic activities, security consciousness, and the dangers of indiscipline. The Guidance Counselor also delivered an address, offering the new students advice and encouragement as they begin their academic journey in the school.
The induction serves as both a symbolic and practical exercise, helping to familiarise the new learners with the school’s values, expectations, and standards of excellence.
